THE ULTIMATE IN LEGIBILITY
Created to be a pure "Tool Watch", the Himalayan Project was designed with a focus on performance and style. The brand's founders put their skills as car designers to the test and made sure that every line and every feature had meaning, from the elevated Indexes, a nod to the Himalayan topography, to the seamless integration of the rubber strap - everything needed to make sense.
For the preorder only every watch will include the integrated rubber strap and the OCTOPOD, along with the single pass nylon adventure strap.
IN HONOR OF THE HERO BEHIND THE CURTAIN
On his attempt to summit K2 for the 7th time this July, 5 time World Record holder Mingma Sherpa David was equipped with a prototype of this watch. David supported Nims Dai (from the Netflix, 14 Peaks documentary) to achieve the seemingly impossible goal of climbing all 14 of the worlds 8,000m+ peaks, within the space of 6 months.
Mingma David will continue to test this timepiece to its limits on future expeditions and will play a pivotal role in the refinement and development of the Ocean To Orbit watch portfolio.
FUNCTION AS A FOUNDATION FOR DESIGN
Forged from grade 5 Titanium with 1200 Vickers treatment and featuring "Lumicast" indexes, with double thickness Superluminova on the hands, the Himalayan Project is about performance and legibility.
With refinement, elegance and style, derived from its shared DNA, the Himalayan Project is in many ways complementary to the Lhotse, but the focus on function has allowed us to create a very different aesthetic.
