Embark on a thrilling adventure of exploration and discovery with the Geckota Ocean-Scout. This Dive watch encapsulates the timeless essence of ocean voyages and the quest for new horizons. With its exceptional craftsmanship and reliability, this timepiece accompanies you on every step of your journey, ensuring that you are always prepared for the next exciting discovery.
Machined from 316L marine-grade stainless steel, the Ocean-Scout case is built for endurance. The removal of crown guards pays homage to classic dive watches and the anti-reflective sapphire box crystal further enhances the vintage aesthetic. The case between the lugs has been shaped to accommodate steel and leather straps with particular attention paid to how a Military Nylon strap fits around a watch. A 60-minute diving bezel reinforces the 200m water resistant capability of the watch.
The Ocean-Scout has a classic 3, 6, 9 dial design available in blue, green or black. Each hour marker, whether a numeral or baton, is crafted with raised and shaped luminescence. Sword hands compliment the vintage theme established by the crown and crystal. A minute track circumnavigates the dial and the seconds hand has been planned to the perfect length; just making contact with the track.
Low light legibility will never be an issue with the Ocean-Scout as the indices and hands are equipped with blue glow BGW9 Super Luminova. The bezel pip is also BGW9 treated. This specific compound of luminescence remains stark white in daylight giving a sophisticated clean and crisp look to the watch and offsets perfectly against the deep colour of the ocean inspired dials.
Powering the Ocean-Scout is an automatic Miyota 9039 movement, which falls within Miyota’s Premium line. This highly capable unit offers 24 Jewels, Para Shock protection, a power reserve of 42 hours and expected accuracy of between -10 to +30 seconds per day. The movement is sealed away under a bespoke engraved caseback which displays the stylised compass logo of the Ocean-Scout and shows the unique limited issue number of your watch.
