Inspired by the brave and selfless healthcare community on the frontlines of COVID-19, this special edition Venture is a medic-friendly chronograph watch that can be used to measure pulse rates and respiratory counts.
The BOLDR Venture Medic Field utilizes an ultra-tough & super light 38mm titanium case, powered by a SII VK64 Mecaquartz Chronograph movement. The watch face is shielded by a flat sapphire crystal lens and has clearly marked indexes and specific pulse-tracking functionalities. It is highly durable with water resistance up to 200m, so there’s no need to worry about impact damage or getting it wet while washing hands.
The combination of the Venture's ultra-tough features with a pulsometer and respiratory scale gave birth to the concept of a 'Field Medic' watch. Built for healthcare workers and watch enthusiasts in general, make the most out this tough tool watch while doing your part in giving back for a good cause.
The mechanics are simple - easily count off heart and respiratory rates within a few seconds by using the precise graduated scales on the dial. This saves valuable time compared to the traditional way. Pulse rates per minute are generally counted in a 15 or 30 seconds window; this watch uses a 30 seconds count as it gives a more accurate reading.
Simply activate the chronograph and count the specified number of beats, stop the chronograph at the corresponding mark, and take a reading. The central seconds-hand will now be pointing to your required measurements in counts per minute. A clearly visible date window also saves precious seconds in the field, giving information at a glance while filling in pages of detailed notes.
