To give this 300m capable dive watch a well-aged look, we worked with NTH to carefully choose the right patina, fonts and crystal - making these NTH subs look like they’ve come straight from a bygone era.
The collection is made up of two versions of the NTH Näcken and Amphion divers. The Näcken pays homage to the original Tudor Submariners from the 1970s, available in blue or green colourways. Whereas the Amphion takes its inspiration from the renowned Rolex Ref.6538, available in grey or in a quintessential Submariner black.
All Näcken and Amphion models feature a unidirectional bezel with a durable aluminium bezel insert, as well as a vintage-style box crystal with a cyclops lens framing the date window at 3 o’clock. The hands, applied indices and bezel markings are coated in X1 GL7500 C Super-LumiNova. This lume has a 60% stronger lume after two hours than the standard BGW9, for unbeatable readability in low light.
Powering these dive watches is the Miyota 9015, an automatic workhorse of a movement with 24 jewels and a 42-hour power reserve. All models feature a signed and lumed screw-down crown and come fitted to a robust ridge military nylon watch strap finished with a co-branded stainless steel buckle featuring WatchGecko and NTH logo.
About NTH
NTH were founded in 2016 by Chris Vail, a long-time member of the WatchUSeek forum community. Before NTH Chris ran another brand called Lew & Huey, which he founded in 2012, so he knows a thing or two about how to make a good watch.
NTH watches focus on putting a twist on classic dive watch designs, at an affordable price, without sacrificing quality. The brand’s watches are very well proportioned and extremely wearable. They’re also true tool watches, being powered by reliable Japanese movements and having great water resistance.
