Introducing the Classic Highley: with reduced padding at the lug end, the Classic is most suitable for pairing with slim dress and vintage watches, which typically have smaller case dimensions. The Classic Highley is just over 4mm thick (at the lug end) and has a smaller buckle, to ensure the final look feels well-proportioned.
The Original Vintage Highley has been a favourite in the WatchGecko portfolio for many years, but we felt there was a need for something slimmer that could better suit a more subtle watch.
Lastly, the Classic Highley incorporates quick-release spring bars for easy strap changes. If you needed to remove the quick-release spring bars then you can learn how to easily remove quick-release spring bars in our video.
Key Features
- Handmade and finished.
- Certified genuine vegetable-tanned, full-grain Italian leather.
- Quick-release spring bars.
- Length: 120mm/80mm.
- Thickness: 4mm tapering to 2.5mm at the buckle.
- The strap features a cut edge, finished with colour-matched paint for a seamless finish and to help prevent moisture penetration and improve durability.
- Stamped and etched with the WatchGecko logo for reassurance of genuine quality.
About The Certified Sustainable Italian Leather
This strap uses certified vegetable-tanned, full-grain Italian leather produced by a member of the Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata Al Vegetale. This consortium of tanneries in Tuscany exclusively uses natural plant-derived tannins and centuries-old techniques to create quality controlled sustainable leathers. As a result, this strap will continue to develop patina and only get better as it wears in and begins to age. We guarantee that we use certified leathers from these certified responsible Italian tanneries.
