The Boldr x WatchGecko Polaris is a 100-piece limited edition field watch that marries the rugged reliability of Boldr’s Venture series with exclusive design elements from WatchGecko. This collaboration results in a timepiece that is both robust and refined, tailored for modern adventurers, watch and space enthusiasts alike.
The Boldr Venture is the watch that put Boldr on the map. The Venture takes the classic field watch design and brings it into the 21st Century with an angular titanium case. As the Venture’s case is titanium, it’s incredibly light, and at 38mm wide and just over 12mm thick, it wears very well on the wrist.
True to its field watch roots, the Venture meets all the requirements of a quality tool watch. It has a solid 200m water resistance, so you can swim and dive without having to worry about water ingress. It also has a flat sapphire crystal, with an anti-reflective coating, that’s incredibly resistant to scratches.
The Polaris features a captivating aventurine dial, flecked with shimmering particles. The surface is smooth and glassy, evoking the feeling of gazing into space with constellations highlighted in Super-LumiNova, with the brightest star - Polaris - placed at the centre of the handset.
We have chosen to use a Seiko NH38 automatic movement in the Venture. This reliable Japanese calibre has 24 jewels, beats at 21,600bph and has a 41-hour power reserve.
For 2026 we have paired this watch with the OCTOPOD System, elevating its comfort and practicality. The strap system features the OCTOFlex two-piece nylon which allows the watch to sit close to the wrist for added comfort and security. The custom case back can also be viewed with the strap attached.
Why This Watch?
- This watch is one of a 100 piece limited edition, only 50 blackout and 50 moonstone watches have been made.
- The single-piece screw-down case back is adorned with embossed limited edition artwork, adding an additional unique touch to each timepiece.
- The Boldr Venture is probably one of the best-value titanium field watches on the market today.
- The sleek, angular case is unique to Boldr and sets the Venture apart from other field watches.
- The high water resistance rating of 200m is unusual to see in a field watch. Usually, these are rated to 100m or less.
- The OCTOPOD system provides comfort, durability, water resistance, and practicality
