How do you clean a leather watch strap?

Remove the strap and wipe it with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. Lightly dampen a soft cloth, add a small amount of natural soap, and gently clean the strap using circular motions. Wipe away any soap with a clean damp cloth, then let the strap air-dry in a cool place away from heat or sunlight. Never soak leather or use harsh chemicals.

How to change a leather watch strap?

Check your watch’s lug width and make sure the new strap matches. Using a spring bar tool, compress the spring bar from inside the lugs to remove the old strap (or slide the pin if it’s quick-release). To fit the new strap, attach the buckle side to the 12 o’clock position and the tail to 6 o’clock. Insert one end of the spring bar into the lug hole, compress the other end, and guide it into place until it clicks. Gently tug the strap to ensure it’s secure.

How to soften leather watch strap?

Leather straps can be stiff at first, but they soften over time. To speed up the process, apply a leather conditioner or natural oil, wear the strap regularly so body heat helps break it in, gently stretch and bend it by hand, and store it in a cool, dry place to maintain its shape.
