In 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first men to step onto the moon, the Speedmaster was right there with them and became famed as the first watch ever worn on the moon. Since then, it has become the watch that has served on the most lunar missions which, if nothing else, is a true representation of the craftmanship and endurance these watches are built with. The Speedmaster proved then and there that it was up for the challenge of withstanding even the most extreme adventures man can make.
