The Sinn 104 is inspired by the classic pilot watch, enhanced by vintage inspired touches that allow for optimum readability. The dial is clearly structured with date/day display, luminous hands and indices and a bidirectional captive pilot’s bezel with minute ratcheting.
The 104 pilot watch uses a 41mm polished stainless-steel case that’s waterproof and low-pressure resistant to 20 bar as per DIN 8310, housed beneath a sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating.
Sapphire crystal is also featured on the screw-fastened caseback, framing the self-winding Sellita SW220-1 movement. This reliable movement has anti-magnetic properties, powering the pilot watch at 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour and benefits from a seconds stop function.
Why This Watch?
- A sapphire crystal caseback frames the self-winding Sellita SW220-1 movement.
- A contemporary design with luminous hands and indices and a captive pilot’s bezel.
- Waterproof and low-pressure resistant to 20 bar and features anti-magnetic properties.
About Sinn
Sinn Watches was founded in 1961 and has long been a big name in horology. The brand was originally focused on producing navigation clocks for cockpits, and this design is reflected in their collection of pilot watches decades later. Sinn promises uncompromising functionality in their watch collections, even in the most demanding conditions. Thanks to industry leading technologies such as Ar-Dehumidifying and antimagnetic construction, Tegiment steel hardening and temperature stabilized movements. It’s not surprising then, that Sinn is praised for their high-quality movements and materials and loved by collectors for their accuracy in extremely adverse conditions.
