This watch is limited to just 150 pieces per year and marks a new chapter in the 25th anniversary celebrations for Formex. Debuting a new case size of 41mm, the Space Ghost sits perfectly between the existing 43mm and 39mm offerings in the steel Essence line, maximising wearability while maintaining the wrist presence Formex is renowned for.
The highlight of this limited edition is the slice of the 4.5-billion-year-old Muonionalusta meteorite that makes the dial. Due to the natural formation of the Widmanstätten pattern, not two dials will be alike. And thanks to Formex’s proprietary rhodium plating treatment, this dial will be sure to sparkle for many years to come. Inside the new case is the Sellita SW200-1 movement. COSC-certified and reliable it offers precision and endurance.
A new three position micro-adjustable butterfly clasp; a new screw down crown that integrates with the case suspension system and increases water resistance to 100m; and a new locking mechanism for the bracelet pins that prevents them from becoming loose after years of wear.
All features that highlight Formex’s constant evolution and innovation. With the same attention to detail, the date wheel has been colour matched to the dial, and the indices and hands blued for contrast and improved legibility.
Established in 1999 by two Swiss brothers as an independent watch manufacturer, with family roots in high-end watch manufacturing, the team developed platforms to exceed industry standards with newly developed smart engineering features. Fuelled by a passion for watches, the brand name and ethos derive from the unique shapes generated by all forms of extreme sport, whether on land or sea, i.e., Forme Extrème (extreme shape).
Formex’s uncompromising watch range covers the needs of most watch enthusiasts whether you require an uncomplicated, ultra-modern, chronometer for a black-tie event or a rugged dive watch for timing during intense sport or adventure.
