The Field Watch II in detail

The Venturo Field Watch II takes some interesting classic designs and effectively brings various inspirations together in a watch for the passionate collectors who value heritage and quality.

The watch comes in at 42mm wide with a thickness around 14mm. This larger watch takes inspiration from models such as the Rolex Oyster Army, a model released in the 1940s that still is as beautiful today. These original Rolex models tend to be around 31mm wide, which for most wrists is a tad too small. 42mm will appeal to a larger range of wrist sizes so it's a logical move from Venturo.

The case has a generous balance of brushed and polished surfaces to help play a part in the modernising of this design. The dial itself has a lovely blue, almost teal sunburst finish to it which when combined with the gilt coloured syringe hands and yellowed lume really gives off a playful vibe.

With 200m of water resistance, it probably doesn't come as a surprise to hear that we also see a solid screw down crown on the Field Watch II. at the heart of this watch is the Seiko NH35 movement which is readily available, serviceable and reliable. A great choice.

As we’ve mentioned earlier this is the sunburst blue dial option however Venturo offers six variations including blue, black, cream and grey. Check out the colours to find yours here!
