Yema Watches

French brand Yema has been making watches since 1948, when it was founded by Henry Louis Belmont and would go on to be the top French exporter of watches in 1966-68.
The brand has produced many reliable models over the decades, such as the Yachtingraf & Rallygraf, but the most famous of which is the Superman. Introduced in 1963, with its iconic bezel lock and 300m water resistance, the Yema Superman was chosen to equip French Air Force pilots. Yema have continued this military history today, with partnerships with both the French Air Force and Marine Nationale.
In 2009 Yema launched their first in-house calibre, making it one of the few brands to offer watches with an in-house movement for less than £1,000. Today the brand are on their second generation of movements, with the three hand YEMA2000 and the GMT YEMA3000.
