Known for their fascinating habit of breaking boundaries, Ulysse Nardin have previously been responsible for ‘freakish’ creations. Now it’s time to revisit their Diver capabilities, with the latest evolution of their experiments in the field brought to us by way of a two-piece Diver capsule collection.
Back in 2020 the brand introduced a concept watch, the Diver NET diving watch, which was brought to the market as a testament to the brand’s commitment to sustainability as well as their use of innovative materials and technologies.

The free-spirited Swiss watch brand have now evolved their Ops (or, operations) collection to include the Net Ops and X Skeleton Ops models. Having previously launched two Freak Ops just last year, these new edgier models are set to enrich the brand’s Ops capsule collection as a celebration of their immaculate in-house watchmaking.

The two new ultra-dynamic creations are trendy yet sporty chic in style and make for an interesting twist on their Diver lineage.

Equipped with the automatic manufacture calibre UN-118, the NET OPS variant offers a 60-hour power reserve and a 300m water resistance rating. As seen for the first time in 2001, Ulysse Nardin have again used a cutting-edge silicon balance spring, as well as coating the escapement with DiamonSil, a patentented diamond-coated silicon capable of delivering exceptional precision and durability.
Driven by sustainability, Ulysse Nardin have crafted the 44m case of the NET OPS’ using 95% recycled stainless steel and Nylo X Carbonium parts which are comprised of 60% upcycled fishing nets and 40% upcycled carbon fibres. A khaki green fabric strap is also offered which has been partially made from the same upcycled materials.
The sandblasted khaki green dial features a power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock and a small seconds display at 6 o’clock. Beige Super-LumiNova has been generously applied to give off a green glow in darker conditions.

Featuring the brands skeletonised automatic UN-372 movement, the X SKELETON OPS is Ulysse Nardin’s answer to the reimagining of more traditional dive watches. Carbonium has been used for the concave unidirectional rotating bezel, as well as the barrel cover which can be seen at 12 o’clock.
The Skeleton X structure dominates the dial, and the case has been constructed from high-tech, lightweight titanium with a black DLC coating. The X SKELETON OPS is also available on an upcycled green fabric strap.
