Viewers worldwide held their breath in anticipation last night as the winners of the 96th Annual Academy Awards were unveiled. Not only a celebration of cinema but a means of shaping it, the annual Oscar's event was held at the Dolby Theatre on March 10th 2024. Rolex were the proud sponsors of the award show for the eighth year in a row.

Guaranteed to be a star-studded event, the 2024 Oscar Awards were attended by an ardent cast of famous faces, but what about the timepieces accompanying them?

We’ve rounded up the most dazzling watches worn at the prestigious event and one of them even took centre stage in a ‘Kentastic’ performance…

Pretty in pink was the aesthetic of choice for Ryan Gosling as he performed “I’m Just Ken” live at the Oscars and donned a pink suit almost as dazzling as the TAG Heuer Plasma on his wrist. Arguably a very fitting look for the Barbie actor, who unfortunately lost out to his unlikely counterpart Oppenheimer in the bid for the Best Supporting Actor category.

Matt Bomer
