Christopher Ward’s Trident collection is no stranger to evolution. Since its debut in 2009, the C60 Trident has grown into one of Britain’s most recognisable modern dive watches – a versatile tool watch with a distinctive identity and strong values under the surface. Now, the Trident family welcomes its most expressive chapter yet: the Christopher Ward C60 Trident Reef.

Available in two case sizes – 41mm and, for the first time ever, 44mm – the Reef is a vibrant new take on the Trident platform. It’s inspired by the colour, texture, and fragility of the world’s coral reefs, with an all-new case architecture, a bold new palette, and a fresh sense of fun that remains grounded in the collection’s rugged, sea-ready ethos.
The design draws inspiration from Franco-Croatian artist Ana Brecevic, whose sculptural paper works explore biodiversity and environmental change through richly coloured, coral-like forms. Her commitment to nature conservation is a fitting mirror to Christopher Ward’s ongoing partnership with the Blue Marine Foundation. As with every Trident model, 2% of sales from the Reef collection will go directly to support Blue Marine’s 30x30 mission to protect 30% of the world’s oceans by 2030.

While the Trident Reef retains the dive-ready credentials you’d expect – including 200 metres of water resistance, a 120-click unidirectional bezel and Super-LumiNova-filled hands and indices – it introduces a completely new case design, built around a four-part Light-catcher™ structure. Each case blends a brushed steel core with polished bevels and a colour-matched aluminium shroud, giving the Reef a unique profile that feels sculptural yet robust. The white-dial model swaps aluminium for a matte ceramic shroud for added contrast and presence.
The dial is equally considered. It’s lightly sandblasted and colour-matched throughout, including the varnished indices, hands and twin-flags logo. Look closer and you’ll spot a mix of linear brushing and diamond polishing across the markers, creating sharp reflections that shift in tone throughout the day. Each model also features a raised chapter ring in matte lacquer, offering useful minute graduations and a subtle sense of depth.

There are five colours to choose from: Acro White, Chalice Yellow, Helio Blue, Galaxea Black, and Tuba Orange. All are available on either an FKM Aquaflex strap or a three-link Bader bracelet with the new push-button extension system first seen on the Trident Lumière. Prices start at £695 / $850 / €895.
Mike France, Christopher Ward CEO and co-founder, describes the Reef as “a no-date, style-focused diver that introduces a new entry point for Trident ownership.” With its pop of colour, expanded sizing and thoughtful details, the C60 Trident Reef is yet another bold reminder from Christopher Ward that performance and personality can go hand in hand.
