With British Watchmakers’ Day inching ever closer, watch fans are being spoilt by a dazzling array of limited-edition timepieces being announced exclusively for the event. MHD Watches have made their way onto the growing list with the announcement of an exclusive version of their MHD Daily Driver.

MHD Watches will be present at Lindley Hall, London on March 9th, as the Alliance of British Watch and Clock Makers showcase the very best in British Horology. To mark the occasion, the Cheltenham-based brand will be bringing with them 10 pieces of an exclusive reimagining of their Daily Driver collection, the 'British Watchmakers’ Day / MHD Daily Driver'.

The MHD Daily Driver chronograph watch, like all of MHD’s timepieces, is influenced by automotive design.
Featuring a suave four-piece 316 L stainless steel case with a black DLC coating and enhanced legibility in all conditions, this is a timepiece specifically developed to go with you on your day-to-day adventures. Reinforced by robust sapphire crystal grass and an anti-reflective coating, the design includes a reverse panda sandwich dial, accented by white sub-dial and red sub-dial hands, complete with date window. Vintage Super LumiNova has been used on the outer bezel, lower sub-dial, hour and minute hands for improved readability.

Utilising a dependable Seiko VK64 Hybrid Meca-Quartz chronograph movement, the timepiece is able to provide the accuracy and stability of quartz for everyday timekeeping and a mechanical movement for the 60-minute chronograph. Offering wearers the best of both worlds.

The ‘British Watchmakers’ Day / MHD Daily Driver’ arrives on a sophisticated 22m tan perforated leather strap and has a case size of 40mm in diameter. The BWMD exclusive timepiece will retail at £595.00 and will only be available for purchase on the day of the event, in London, at an extremely limited quantity of only 10 pieces.
