These are the guys who look after the most incredible, rare and pristine classic cars...
So as you probably can tell from the past few months, we’ve been exploring our pre-existing interest in motorsports and automotives more and more. The relationship between the motorsports industry and the watch industry is undeniably there and very prominent. So when a friend of ours invites us to visit one of the most impressive collections of vintage and classic cars for sale only a stone’s throw away from WatchGecko HQ, there is no way we could say no.
The Classic Motor Hub is a company I’ve known about for some time now, predominantly through Instagram. Regular as clockwork, myself and Ben will tag each other in posts on Instagram of insane cars and more than likely @theclassicmotorhub will be included in the tagging.
Classic, high performance, and simply rare vehicles sit behind the well-hidden entrance of the now-retired RAF Bibury site. Entering The Classic Motor Hub (CMH) we were met with not only friendly, welcoming faces, but a stacked shop of everything CMH branded, artwork, unique motorsport themed merchandise from floor to ceiling and a general feeling that these guys really know how to create a brand (oh, and great coffee).
This place is much more than just a dealership for classics and rare vehicles but as the name suggests, a real hub for guys and gals interested in relics with a motor.
Below is an insight into what we saw on the day when given a tour of the place. There truly is something for everyone here which is in line with what the guys replied with when questioned what they look for. Rare, the best example of a specific car and anything with a story. Hard to argue with that approach. Take a look below and you’ll see what they mean…
A big thank you to Ben, Richard and William for being so welcoming and for showing us the plethora of classic vehicles available at The Classic Motor Hub. Everything you see above is all for sale and available on their website, as mentioned previously all budgets are considered from a 60s Morris Mini-Minor to 1 of 1 1913 Swiss car or a handful of the rarest Ferrari’s.
And even if you’re not in the market for an incredible classic car, be sure to go along say hello to the guys, they publicly welcome classic car owners and enthusiasts to visit them, browse the showrooms or grab a brew in the Hub Coffee House and Shop, which is open 10am to 3pm on Saturday.
