The Sinn 903 St B E is a highly functional navigational chronograph, ideal for those looking to perform their own multiplication, cross-multiplication, division and various conversions without sacrificing clear legibility. Watch fans will also recognise the distinct dial design from the Breitling 806 and 809 Navitimer watches, as Sinn bought the rights to use this dial layout when parts of the Breitling company were liquidated in 1979.

The crown at 10 o’clock allows for mathematical operations and to rotate the slide rule bezel with logarithmic scale. Besides mathematical conversions, the 903 also allows you to calculate fuel consumption, speed and distance. While an additional chronograph function allows for the recording and measuring periods of time.

The dial features luminous ivory-coated hands and indices and silver electroplated counters and interior bezel, housed under an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. A screw-fastened display caseback with sapphire crystal draws attention to the self-winding LJP 8000 movement, featuring 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour and a seconds stop function.

The 41mm case is made from polished satinized stainless-steel with a screwable winding crown. The Sinn 903 is also constructed to be anti-magnetic as per DIN 8309 and is waterproof and low-pressure resistant to 100m, as set out in standard DIN 8310.

Why This Watch?

  • A nostalgic and beautiful dial design, reminiscent of Breitling’s 806 and 809 Navitimer.
  • Impressive functionality with a range of calculations and measurements at your disposal.
  • A durable case design that’s antimagnetic, low pressure and water resistant to 10 bar.

About Sinn

Sinn Watches was founded in 1961 and has long been a big name in horology. The brand was originally focused on producing navigation clocks for cockpits, and this design is reflected in their collection of pilot watches decades later. Sinn promises uncompromising functionality in their watch collections, even in the most demanding conditions. Thanks to industry leading technologies such as Ar-Dehumidifying and antimagnetic construction, Tegiment steel hardening and temperature stabilized movements. It’s not surprising then, that Sinn is praised for their high-quality movements and materials and loved by collectors for their accuracy in extremely adverse conditions.
