Handmade in Spain by experienced artisans, this vintage leather watch strap is crafted from vegetable-tanned, top-grain leather sourced from Tuscany. Each strap is made individually by hand, meaning no two are ever exactly alike.
The design has been refined to improve durability while preserving the strap’s vintage character. The edges are now finished with a clear-painted coating, offering greater resistance to wear without detracting from the leather’s natural texture. Combined with refined edge stitching, the result is a strap that feels considered, robust, and built to last.
From first wear, the leather is supple and comfortable, moulding naturally to the wrist over time. Rich in texture and character, it pairs particularly well with vintage and vintage-inspired watches, where material quality and detail matter just as much as the watch itself.
Key Features
- Handmade in Spain by skilled artisans
- Vegetable-tanned, top-grain leather from Tuscany
- Updated design with clear-painted edges for improved durability
- Each strap is unique due to the handmade process
- Substantial taper, ideal for vintage watches
- Length: 120 / 80mm
- Thickness: approximately 2.7mm
About the Leather
The leather is produced by Conceria La Perla Azzurra S.R.L., a small Tuscan tannery known for producing some of the finest vegetable-tanned leathers available. A proud member of the Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana, La Perla uses traditional methods, tanning hides with bark and oils before through-dyeing them in large drums.
The result is a leather with a naturally varied, pebbled texture - smoother in some areas, more pronounced in others. After tanning, the hides are soaked in oil and tumbled in drums, allowing the oils to move through the skin and create natural wrinkles that give each strap its distinctive character.
