Crafted from precision-woven 316-grade stainless steel, the strap features a finely balanced mesh construction rooted in the tradition of Milanese bracelets. This style is prized for its flexibility, breathability, and ability to sit comfortably on the wrist, even during extended wear.
At the heart of the Calibre 1960 is its ultra-flat mesh profile, achieved through a specialised water-grinding process. This finishing technique smooths and refines the surface of the mesh, resulting in a slimmer, more uniform appearance that lies cleanly against the wrist and catches light subtly. A brushed finish enhances the strap’s understated, timeless character, making it equally suited to vintage dress watches and modern minimalist designs.

Updated solid end links replace the previous folded construction, delivering a more substantial, premium feel at the lugs. Machined from solid stainless steel, these ends provide improved durability and a higher-quality finish, while maintaining integrated quick-release spring bars for effortless installation. Discreet slots on both sides also allow the use of standard spring bars, offering added versatility when fitting different cases.

Completing the update is the fold-over clasp, replacing the original functional but basic design. This refined clasp offers a more robust, premium feel with improved adjustability and a cleaner profile on the wrist, while a safety latch ensures dependable everyday security.
