The Boldr Venture Field Medic is inspired by the bravery of healthcare workers around the world during the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, the watch was designed for medical professionals to use to measure pulse rates and respiratory counts.
The case of the Venture Field Medic is made from ultra-light, yet durable, titanium with a non-reflective satin finish. At 38mm wide and 12.2mm thick the watch is unobtrusive on the wrist, and perfect for both men and women. A flat sapphire crystal protects the dial, and this scratch-resistant material also has an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare and improve legibility. In addition to this the Venture Field Medic has 200m water resistance, so it can be submerged in water without fear.
The Venture Field Medic is equipped with a Japanese Seiko VK64 meca-quartz chronograph movement. This movement has established itself as a reliable quartz movement, and as a result it's widely used by watch manufacturers.
To use the pulse and respiratory scales, you simply start the chronograph and count the specified number of beats, stop the chronograph at the corresponding mark, and take a reading. The central seconds-hand will now be pointing to your required measurements in counts per minute.
Why This Watch?
- With a titanium case, sapphire crystal, and 200m water resistance for well under £300, the Venture Field Medic offers tremendous value for money.
- Boldr's design language is very unique and distinctly theirs, which makes their watches great for those who want to be different and stand out from the crowd.
- $30 From every sale is donated to COVID-19 relief funds.
