It starts with quality materials and the passion and dedication of the people who put these straps together. All straps in this range are handmade in our partner's factory in Belgium, where a small team of dedicated and skilled artisans make up this family-run business.

Premium leathers are sourced from leading tanneries in France and Italy. But before the production begins, each piece is carefully checked to ensure that it is perfect.

At each stage of the process, the materials are carefully checked. The pieces are individually cut out, and each watch strap is made one at a time. After the leather pieces have been selected and cut, they are adjusted to the correct thickness.

Before the parts are glued together, the lining of the strap is stamped with the details of the leather and our logo. Stamping at this stage ensures that the top leather cannot be damaged by the stamping process.

Many years of experience are required to hand-make premium leather watch straps such as these. Typically, there are around one hundred steps in the production process, and each member of the team has their own area of expertise.

The process takes several days, and the straps move around the workshop as they progress from one stage to the next.

Some of our designs are stitched by hand, one stitch at a time. Others are sewn with a machine. Either way, each strap is unique. All of the straps are painted by hand at the edges using a special paint, either with a contrasting or matching colour.

Before the edges can be painted, they are carefully examined to ensure that they are perfectly smooth and free of any defects. Then the paint is applied by hand using a wheel or a brush.

These straps are the top of our range, our most premium product, so when the straps have been fully assembled, each one is subject to a quality inspection.

Every watch strap is individually checked one final time to ensure that it is perfect, and only straps that pass this final part of the process will be fitted with a buckle.
