The TROPIC® strap is probably the most iconic of all rubber watch straps. The TROPIC® strap was a staple choice for dive watches back in the 1960s, and it’s now been recreated by Synchron Watches for today’s dive watch enthusiasts.
The new strap is a near identical reproduction of the original TROPIC® straps. The surface has the iconic crosshatched “tapestry” texture and diamond perforations that define the TROPIC®, with the perforations widening on the underside to improve airflow for the wearer.
The strap is made from a proprietary vulcanized rubber that’s designed to be both comfortable and durable. Meanwhile the buckle is made from solid stainless steel.
Please note that buckle style may vary due to product availability.
