The ‘lug width’ is simply the internal width measured between the lugs (where the watch strap fits) of the watch.
Introducing the Sorrel, a contemporary watch strap handmade in Germany from genuine Alcantara®. Soft, tactile and understated, it brings the distinctive character of a suede-like finish to the wrist in a slim, refined design.
Made in Italy, Alcantara® is known for its beautifully soft feel and distinctive matte appearance. On the Sorrel watch strap, the material is used on both the upper and lining, creating a consistently soft feel against the skin and making it particularly comfortable for everyday wear.
Each Sorrel is handmade in Germany using Remborde construction, a traditional technique where the outer material is carefully folded around the internal layers to create smooth, neatly finished edges. The result is a clean, considered profile that complements the softness of the Alcantara®.
At just 2.6mm thick, the Sorrel sits slim and comfortably on the wrist without feeling insubstantial. Matching colour stitching keeps the design understated, while a polished stainless steel pin buckle provides a classic finishing touch. One fixed keeper and one floating keeper help keep the tail of the strap neatly secured while allowing for easy adjustment.
Measuring 115/80mm, the Sorrel is available in seven colourways, ranging from versatile neutrals to brighter, more expressive shades. Its combination of colour, texture and slim proportions makes it an easy match for everything from vintage chronographs to contemporary everyday watches.
