The strap has a genuine leather lining in dark brown soft calf leather. This lining leather is specially produced to be used as a lining for watch straps.

This is a padded design with an alligator grain top leather. The top layer is made from calf leather that has been stamped with an alligator grain pattern.

The top of the strap has a padded central part which is just under 5mm thick, the strap is much thinner at the buckle, however, where the padding reduces to around 2.5mm.
