Oracle Time has been the UK’s premier fine watch publication since it was founded in 2013. They’ve done it all from covering brands big and small, watches expensive to affordable, and have recently even been able to create collaborative limited-edition watches and organise community events.

Being a part of the Oracle Time membership is more than just receiving 10 printed magazines a year, it’s about being a part of a community of like-minded and passionate watch enthusiasts, and we are very proud to be able to work with them.

What Does Oracle Time Membership Mean for Me?

Oracle Time have always pride themselves on the quality of their written content. Not only have they always strived to produce the best journalistic content, but they have also often been the first to report on new releases and industry news, managing to get hands on with some of the biggest and most exciting names in the watch industry today. And all of that content is available to their members.

But, although many of you will know Oracle Time for their written work, there are many more strings to their bow. Earlier this year I was fortunate enough to be representing WatchGecko and Boldr watches at the first ever Hands on Horology. A show that welcomed 40+ brands and 700+ attendees to the Protein Studios in Shoreditch for a full day of watch related fun. I was extremely impressed with the show, especially considering it was the first one they had ever run. I had the opportunity to meet many inspiring people, both from within the industry and other walks of life. It was a truly great event, and I cannot wait for the next one coming up on 13 th June 2026. And what’s also great is that members get a complimentary ticket to Hands on Horology!

Hands on Horology was one of the most diverse shows in term of brands in attendance that I think I have ever been to. There were brands with models ranging from several hundred pounds all the way up to several hundred-thousand pounds. There were newer brands like Serica and Beaucroft to well established names including Doxa and Junghans. But no matter the size of the brand or the value of the watch, as the name of the show suggests, it was an opportunity for everyone to get hands on with these incredible timepieces. HOH is not going to be limited to just London, there are many exciting things in the works for this show.

Discounts and Giveaways!

Being a watch collector is an expensive hobby; there’s no two ways about it. No matter whether you collect vintage Rolex or F-91Ws the cost starts adding up fast. Being and Oracle Time member does help in this department as they have used their connections and partnerships to offer you discounts with their partner brands. Which is great news at a time where it seems like new watch retail prices are increasing by the day. As a partner brand we are very proud to offer Oracle Time members a 15% discount on WatchGecko products. I’m not a financial advisor, but this seems like a good place to put money to me!

Earlier I mentioned that the team at Oracle Time have been using their knowledge of great watches to create limited editions in collaboration with watch brands. Collaborations with Christopher Ward, Ball and Isotope are some of the most recent highlights. These limited editions are often produced in small numbers and once they’re sold, they are gone forever.

Am I right in saying that everyone likes to win something for free? I certainly do and I’d be even more ecstatic to win a watch for free. Another part of Oracle Time membership is your free entry to every new watch giveaway that they do. They have managed to give away right luxury watches so far, the most recent of which was an Oceaneva 6,000m Deep Marine Explorer VI. You best keep your eyes on your emails if you are a member because wouldn’t that just be a dream come true to win a new watch!

One final benefit I had to mention, because this means a lot to me, is the access to the WhatsApp community. Watch collecting or an interest in horology can often be a niche and sometimes lonely hobby. That’s something that I have found in particular being in my early twenties with friends that are way more focused on where the next best pint is from! Having like-minded enthusiasts to chat with, learn from or even teach new things to is one of the most rewarding parts of this hobby, and that’s why I love that Oracle Time have a community for their members.

If all of this sounds like your kind of thing then the good news doesn’t stop there. As we are proud partners with Oracle Time, not only do their members get a discount on our products, but we are delighted to have the opportunity to offer our readers a discount for Oracle Time membership. If you use the code 'WG35', each issue works out to be less than £6! So, if you are interested in becoming an Oracle Time member then please do use the code. Not only does it save you money, but it helps us partner with the very best that the industry has to offer. Thank you.

Final Thoughts

Oracle Time membership means that you are receiving your watch news from passionate creators and true enthusiast that love the watch industry and want to offer everyone the very best in horological journalism. But as I have shown in this review, an Oracle Time membership means more than just that. It is an invitation to be a part of a growing and thriving community and we very much hope that you would like to be a part of it too.
