With Europe’s leading jewelry, watch and gemstone fair celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the WatchGecko Magazine team are jetting off to Munich to discover which wonders will be presented by the renowned watchmakers and up-and-coming brands attending.

Hall A1 at Messe München will set the stage as the dedicated home of timepieces at INHORGENTA’s 2024 event. From high-quality mechanical watches to noble chronographs, stylish quartz watches and innovative smart watches, watch-lovers and connoisseurs alike can expect to see the latest trends uncovered.

With Mühle Glashütte, Ebel, Junghans, Tutima Glashütte, Michel Herbelin, Citizen, Casio, Garmin, Porsche Design and many more attending, it’s set to be a star-studded event. Perhaps the brightest stars though are the nominees for this year’s prestigious INHORGENTA AWARD.

Now in its seventh year, the INHORGENTA AWARD has been described by Stefanie Mändlein (INHORGENTA Exhibition Director) as “the platform for innovation, creativity and craftsmanship”. A top-class jury of international experts have combed through 139 submissions across 9 categories to find their finalists and the winners will be unveiled at a glamorous award ceremony on February 17th at the Showpalast Munich.

Of course, it’s only natural for our interest to be held by the watch-related categories and this year sees an exciting new addition to the line-up. For the first time ever, INHORGENTA AWARD will announce a winner for the Luxury Watch of the Year category.
