This morning, Sinn have released six new models as part of their Spring 2024 series.
Limited to an exclusive run of 1,000 pieces, the first of Sinn’s limited-edition offerings is the 103 St Ty Hd, a 41mm classic hand-wound chronograph. The 103 series of classic pilot chronographs have been a definitive collection for the brand since the 1960s and are a self-proclaimed embodiment of the essence of Sinn.

Now, paying a contemporary tribute to their heritage, the 103 St Ty Hd is the first Sinn watch from the 103 series to incorporate a hand-wound movement in around 20 years. Still equipped with the anticipated shock-resistant acrylic glass and hand-wound movement with a power reserve of more than 58 hours, this is a refreshing take on a classic that promises to be just as functional as its predecessor.

Watch enthusiasts are also set to see an exclusive special edition of the Commerzbank being released. The 356 Sa PILOT III Commerzbank is the most limited new model Sinn have announced, with only 100 pieces being made available. Arriving in a 38.5mm case, the 356 Sa was born out of yet another collaboration between Sinn and Commerzbank and is aptly decorated in a Yellow/Ocean Petrol colourway to reflect the colours associated with the bank’s branding.

Finally, the biggest release from Sinn is the U50 Hydro, a collection of three 41mm diving watches (U50 Hydro S, U50 Hydro SDR and U50 Hydro Tegiment) made with German Submarine Steel and equipped with impressive HYDRO Technology.

The U50 Hydro S is the only model of the three that is solely constructed from high-strength, seawater-resistant German Submarine Steel but the entire Hydro collection is waterproof and pressure-resistant up to an impressive 5000m diving depth (= 500 bar). The U50 Hydro SDR and U50 Hydro Tegiment both ultilise German Submarine Steel for their case and crown and all are crafted with various levels of Tegiment Technology.

The impressive effect of the Hydro Technology fostered in these timepieces becomes most evident when they’re in their natural habitat; underwater. Thanks to Hydro Technology, each watch is guaranteed to be completely free from fogging, anti-reflective at any angle and perfectly readable even underwater.
Don’t be fooled though, you don’t have to be a professional diver to enjoy the U50 Hydro range. The displays of each watch are straightforward yet effective, concentrating on the bare essentials and making them just as appropriate for deep sea diving as they are for the everyday person taking on everyday life.

The dial is uncluttered and simple, a quick glance is all you need with just the date, hour and minute markers being present and standing out in white against stark black. In the spirit of wearer comfort, the crown has also been positioned at 4 o’clock to prevent excess pressure on the back of the hand when undertaking more physically rigorous activities.
With a striking design that concentrates on the essentials, the U50 S L completes the drop of new releases from Sinn. Housed in a 41mm case, it introduces a glow not seen in any of the other models, with the entire dial and key marker on the rotating bezel illuminated by luminescent paint.

The remarkable technological innovation demonstrated by the brand results in impressively functional, versatile, and truly robust timepieces.
