James Bond lives and was apparently not blown up on Rami Malek’s island. Well to be more accurate Daniel Craig's 007 is reborn one last time, appearing in a new advert for the latest evolution of the Omega Seamaster 300M.

The movie incarnation of James Bond has been wearing an Omega Seamaster since 1995. His Rolex Oyster days are long gone, confined to the dusty pages of Mr Fleming’s original work. To mark the 60th Anniversary of Bond on screen Omega have released a new edition of the watch that Daniel Craig had a hand in designing for Spectre. The new 42mm dive watch is presented in a stainless steel case with a contrasting blue dial and retains the iconic skeletal rhodium plated this time in white varnished aluminium.

The display case back pays homage to the famous opening sequences of all Bond movies and has an animated Bond in silhouette and pistol barrel. The “moiré” effect is linked to the spinning of the seconds hand, so the action never stops. Back from the 90s are laser-engraved dial waves, inspired by the original 1995 GoldenEye watch.  The triangle at the top of the bezel is also replaced by the number 60 for the Anniversary.

Inside the 60 years of Bond watch we find OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 which offers an impressive 55 hour power reserve and is resistant to 15,000 Gauss of magnetic force.  The new Seamaster is presented in a blue wooden box in the original Diver 300M pattern, with three dots inspired by the classic Bond movie opening sequence. The 60th Anniversary Bond 300M is available for £7400 from Omega or on request from Q-Department.
