British Watchmakers' Day is a watch event unlike any other. Nowehere else will you find a room filled with 40+ watch brands, media partners and clock makers that are collaborating throughout the year to boost their industry into the future.

That collaborative approach to the show, organised by the British Watch and Clock Makers' Alliance, is part of what makes this show the highlight on our calendar. This year that all-important date is Saturday 7th March 2026. Another part of what makes it a highlight for us is the shear amount of effort participating brands put into producing special edition watches specifically for this show. Apiar’s Gen 1.1 Underground is a British Watchmakers’ Day 2026 special edition that draws its inspiration from the iconic London Underground map. Limited to just three pieces, each dial is CNC-machined, laser engraved and hand-filled with enamel by dial artist Chris Alexander, ensuring no two watches are ever the same. The generatively designed Grade 23 titanium case highlights Apiar’s additive manufacturing credentials, while a sapphire display back reveals the La Joux-Perret G101 automatic movement with 68 hours of power reserve and a hand-painted rotor. Measuring 39mm and paired with a UK-made Alcantara strap, the watch is available exclusively in person at the event.

Beaucroft’s Rebel Red is a 50-piece special edition that balances sporting intent with understated refinement. A rich red gradient sunburst dial takes centre stage, punctuated by a soft blue gloss seconds hand that adds a confident flash of colour. The 39.5mm case is finished in Nitron MC tungsten carbide, delivering exceptional scratch resistance with a hardness rating above 850 Hv. Inside, a Miyota 9039 automatic movement regulated in the UK to ±10 seconds per day powers the watch, which also offers 200 metres of water resistance and a cut-to-fit FKM rubber strap. This is a compelling showcase of British-led collaboration and engineering.

Brooklands Watch Company’s Triple-Four Redline is a 10-piece limited edition chronograph that celebrates motorsport at full throttle. Evolving from the sold-out Triple-Four inspired by the Napier-Railton, this Redline edition introduces black sub-dials and a vivid red chronograph seconds hand, a direct nod to the historic Brooklands circuit. The 41mm stainless steel case houses a Swiss automatic SW500 chronograph movement, visible through an exhibition case back complete with engine-inspired rotor. A subtly banked chapter ring echoes the circuit’s famous curves, reinforcing the racing narrative. Individually numbered and presented in bespoke packaging.

Christopher Ward’s C1 Loco 7326 is a ten-piece exclusive that reframes the brand’s most advanced movement in a refined, formal setting. Powered by the in-house Calibre CW-003, it features a dial-side free-sprung balance, chronometer-grade accuracy and an impressive six-day power reserve. A heavily domed blue lacquer dial with Roman numerals sits within a new 41mm Light-catcher™ case in polished 904L steel, measuring just 8.75mm thick excluding crystals. Hand-finished bridges and a Union Jack-engraved dial plate add subtle national character. All profits support the Alliance of British Watch & Clock Makers. 

Detrash’s Neo is a five-piece British Watchmakers’ Day exclusive inspired by The Matrix and driven by the brand’s sustainability-first ethos. The black PVD-coated case is produced from 80 percent recycled steel and paired with a BeerSkin strap created from brewing waste. Electric green accents cut sharply across the minimalist dial, while a double-domed sapphire crystal and 100 metres of water resistance ensure everyday durability. Power comes from a Miyota 9039 automatic movement, visible through a sapphire display back. Available only in person on 7 March, Neo embodies Detrash’s commitment to radical scarcity, environmental responsibility and purpose-led design. Price not stated, with a portion of proceeds supporting environmental charities.

Diatom’s Terra Meteorite is a 50-piece special edition that brings together horology and space exploration. Each dial is cut from 4.5-billion-year-old Gibeon meteorite and scientifically verified using SEM and EDAX analysis. The chapter ring incorporates mission-flown material from the Apollo 11 Command Module Columbia, forging a tangible link to humanity’s first lunar landing. As a final flourish, every Terra Meteorite is flown to over 120,000 feet into near space, with owners receiving video footage of their individual watch’s journey. Conceived as a story-driven collector’s piece.

Edward Christopher’s Ripple Special Edition makes its debut at British Watchmakers’ Day 2026 as a hypnotic 38mm unisex watch limited to 25 pieces. The mirrored 3D ripple dial radiates outward from the brand logo and is paired with violet faceted leaf hands, all accented with BGW9 Super-LumiNova. Designed without traditional indices, subtle cuts at the dial edge guide time reading while preserving the watch’s minimalist intent. A recessed crown at 4 o’clock enhances the flowing case profile. Inside, a Miyota 9039 automatic movement with 42-hour power reserve is visible through a sapphire display back with luminous vented rotor. Supplied on an integrated steel bracelet with micro-adjust, the Ripple balances visual drama with everyday wearability. 

Elliot Brown’s Beachmaster Automatic British Watchmakers’ Day special edition is a ten-piece exclusive engineered around genuine operational need. Inspired by English oak woodlands, the deep green dial anchors a patented mission-timing system that allows seamless tracking of countdown and elapsed time without mental arithmetic. The 40mm stainless steel case is individually tested to 300 metres and houses a Sellita SW330-2 automatic GMT movement with a 56-hour power reserve. Colour-coded Super-LumiNova enhances low-light legibility, while ceramic inner and outer bezels reinforce its tool-watch credentials. Supplied on both steel bracelet and rubber strap, it is available exclusively on 7 March 2026.

The Rocket Concept Edition marks the launch of Ember Watch Company’s experimental Concept series, created exclusively for British Watchmakers’ Day 2026. Limited to 45 pieces, it introduces a vertically graded dial that fades from soft purple-pink to pale blue, paired with bespoke dial text unique to the edition. Retaining the Rocket’s core specifications, it features a bead-blasted 316L stainless steel case, 100 metres of water resistance, sapphire crystal, sandwich dial with BGW9 Super-LumiNova and a TMI NH38 automatic movement. Supplied with a steel bracelet alongside white and blue FKM rubber straps, the Concept Edition is designed to explore new ideas without compromise, available to take away on the day.

Farer’s Cross is a 20-piece limited edition inspired by the SS Southern Cross and Britain’s first Antarctic expedition. The 39mm stainless steel case houses a richly textured fjord-green dial, created through a multi-stage spinning and lacquering process that produces a smoky gradient effect. Floating Lumicast hour markers and pencil hands filled with Grade X2 Super-LumiNova ensure strong legibility, while a boxed sapphire crystal adds depth. Powered by the La Joux-Perret G101 automatic movement with a 68-hour power reserve and 100 metres of water resistance, the Cross blends exploration heritage with refined colour. 

The Fears Brunswick 40 ‘1846 Edition’ marks the brand’s 180th anniversary with a sterling silver British Watchmakers’ Day exclusive limited to 25 pieces. Inspired by Edwin Fear’s original 1846 pocket watch, the slim 40mm cushion case is machined from hallmarked 925 silver and crowned with a diamond-set crown. A white lacquer multi-layer dial with Roman numerals and oversized sub-seconds is paired with thermally blued spade hands. Power comes from the manual-wind La Joux-Perret G121M, offering a 60-hour power reserve and a tactile winding ritual. Finished on a heritage pigs’ leather strap, the watch is available exclusively on 7 March 2026. 

Geckota’s Pioneer Graphite Special Edition celebrates British Watchmakers’ Day 2026 with a clean, contemporary take on the brand’s everyday cushion-case sports watch. Limited to 50 pieces, the 41.5mm stainless steel case houses a dual-layer brushed graphite dial with applied indices and BGW9 Super-LumiNova. Power is provided by the dependable TMI NH38 automatic movement, protected by a flat sapphire crystal and rated to 10 ATM water resistance. Each watch is supplied on a premium rubber strap with folding clasp, offered in a choice of four accent colours that allow the wearer to personalise the look. Designed for versatility and value.

Golby Watches’ Aquareef 40 British Watchmakers’ Day Edition is a 38-piece limited release inspired by the Cornish coastline and the natural movement of water. A logo-free oil-pressed ripple dial in red, white and blue sits within a 39mm stainless steel case featuring dual crowns, an internal rotating chapter ring for dual-time tracking and a fully lumed sapphire countdown bezel. Powered by the slim Miyota 9015 automatic movement, the watch delivers 200 metres of water resistance, sapphire crystal and an exhibition case back. Supplied with a steel bracelet, FKM rubber strap and travel case, the Aquareef 40 balances colour, capability and accessibility. 

The Platinum Pebble 1 ‘41 Sunburst’ is a unique, one-of-one timepiece that exemplifies Justin Richardson’s bespoke approach to watchmaking. Blending mid-century restraint with early 20th-century ornamentation, it features a softly contoured platinum case and an intricately engraved 18ct yellow gold guilloché sunburst dial. A beating-heart aperture reveals the movement beneath, celebrating mechanical craft in motion. Subtle details such as a JR-signed crown and handcrafted platinum deployant clasp reinforce its artisanal nature. Designed and made entirely in Richardson’s Canterbury workshop, the Platinum Pebble 1 is an heirloom-grade expression of individuality. 

Monro Adventure’s Luna Adventure “Lost in Space” is a 50-piece special edition inspired by the vastness of space. A 39mm stainless steel vented case houses a cosmic aventurine dial alongside the brand’s luminous LUMECORE™ inner capsule coated with Super-LumiNova X2. The concentrically aligned handset includes a fully luminous astronaut seconds hand, adding a playful note. Powered by a Miyota 9039 automatic movement with custom Côtes de Genève finishing, the watch features sapphire crystal, a screw-down crown and 100 metres of water resistance. A quick-adjust seven-link bracelet completes this striking contemporary sports watch.

Moriarty Watches’ Britannia brings bespoke Irish grand feu enamelling to British Watchmakers’ Day 2026 in a three-piece limited edition. The 40mm stainless steel case frames a dramatic multi-layer enamel dial, hand-fired six times at 800°C using a proprietary powdered-glass blend to achieve a speckled midnight-blue nebula finish. Each dial requires over 40 hours of hand work. Power comes from a top-grade Sellita SW-300 automatic movement with bespoke gold rotor, regulated to ±3 seconds per day and offering a 56-hour power reserve. Limited to 50 pieces, the 39.5mm Grade 5 titanium case frames a copper dial oil-pressed to evoke the cratered surface of Titan, Saturn’s largest moon. Extensive Super-LumiNova ensures dramatic low-light legibility, while a crater-style date window reinforces the celestial theme. Buyers can choose between a Swiss Ronda quartz movement or a Sellita SW200 automatic with exhibition case back. The watch features 100 metres of water resistance and a titanium bracelet.

Paulin’s Dazzle Clock is a British Watchmakers’ Day 2026 collaboration with Glasgow-based printmaker Rebecca McCormack. Limited to 50 pieces, each clock features a bold screen-printed dial inspired by geometric modernism and printed by hand at M.A.R.S Print Studio. The design is housed in Paulin’s signature cork-bodied case, offering warmth and tactility, with a choice of three contrasting second-hand colours. Driven by an SKP sweep movement and powered by a single AA battery, the 300mm wall clock balances practical function with graphic expression. This clock reflects Paulin’s accessible, design-led approach to timekeeping.

Pinion’s Pure Chance marks British Watchmakers’ Day 2026 with a hand-wound, 50-piece special edition designed and built entirely in-house by founder Piers Berry. Reimagining Pinion’s original 2014 Pure, it introduces a new 38mm stainless steel case paired with a shimmering aventurine glass dial, referencing the material’s accidental discovery in 17th-century Venice. The gilt-finished Sellita SW261-1 M manual-wind movement offers a 45-hour power reserve and is regulated in-house, visible through a sapphire case back with bespoke artwork. With a high-domed sapphire crystal and 100 metres of water resistance, Pure Chance blends artistry with watchmaking independence. 

Pompeak’s Mallory Tux Edition is a 50-piece special that reimagines the brand’s modern dress watch with playful sophistication. Retaining the Mallory’s layered dial architecture and sub-seconds layout, the Tux Edition introduces a black-tie colour palette with a crisp white sub-seconds register. Its defining feature is a rotating bow-tie seconds hand, offered in black, blue or red, adding character without compromising refinement. The 40mm case houses a decorated Sellita SW260-1 automatic movement with 41-hour power reserve, hacking and hand-winding. With sapphire crystal and 100 metres of water resistance, the Mallory Tux Edition blends charm with everyday practicality. 

The Schofield Skeptiko is a deliberately introspective release, limited to 50 pieces across two variants. Designed without external reference, it explores material and form through cases crafted in Ultem® aerospace polymer or tumbled stainless steel. A multi-level dial features triangular motifs, chatoyant finishes and a refined luminous peripheral ring, paired with sculptural tuning-fork hands. Power comes from a gilded ETA 2824-2 automatic movement, visible through a printed sapphire case back. Measuring 44mm and offering 200 metres of water resistance, the Skeptiko balances experimental design with serious robustness. 

Siderius’ Réalta GMT is a ten-piece special edition celebrating the enduring link between astronomy and timekeeping. Based on the Sidus platform, it employs an under-dial rotating disc to display a second time zone, paired with a dual-colour day-night indicator for instant clarity. A dark blue anodised aluminium dial sits within a 40mm stainless steel case finished in blue ion plating. Powered by a Sellita SW331-2 automatic movement with a 56-hour power reserve, the Réalta GMT is presented in an oak box made exclusively for the event. 

The Timor Heritage Field BWD is a restrained special edition rooted firmly in the brand’s mid-century military lineage. Designed in Great Britain and manufactured in Switzerland, the 36.5mm bead-blasted stainless steel case houses a small-seconds Sellita SW260/216 movement, prioritising clarity and balance inspired by 1940s field watches. A bespoke typeface, Union Jack-derived colour palette and Gill Sans dial quietly mark the occasion without overt branding. With domed sapphire crystal, 50 metres of water resistance and a choice of leather strap or steel bracelet, the Heritage Field BWD is designed to sit naturally within Timor’s wider collection. 

William Wood’s Great Fire of London Watch is a British Watchmakers’ Day exclusive that roots modern tool-watch design in a defining chapter of British history. Limited to an initial 50 pieces at the event, the 41mm brushed stainless steel watch features a Big Ben-inspired dial and an embedded into the case back is a genuine £2 collector’s coin depicting the Great Fire of London of 1666. Powered by the reliable Seiko NH35 automatic movement with a 41-hour power reserve, it offers a unidirectional aluminium bezel, double-domed sapphire crystal and 100 metres of water resistance. Thoughtful personal touches and fire-service heritage define this grounded commemorative release. 

Zero West’s H01 BWD Heritage Special is a one-off chronograph created to showcase the brand’s new in-house dial manufacturing (see our full zero west video on the channel to learn more). Featuring the Alliance logo, event date code and geographic coordinates, the dial reflects Zero West’s signature focus on time and place. The 42mm case houses a Sellita SW500BVc chronograph movement and is paired with a bespoke handmade leather strap. Developed entirely at Zero West’s south coast studio, the watch exemplifies the brand’s commitment to British engineering and vertical integration.
