About Genuine Horween Leather
This strap is produced from Horween Chromexcel leather, which is traditionally manufactured in the US. Characterised by rich pull-up and hand-rubbed finishes, this old-world craftsmanship has been passed down through generations and is renowned for producing exceptional quality leathers that withstand the test of time. This combination-tanned leather undergoes a lengthy 89-step process, which involves “hot stuffing”, which sees the leather saturated with a variety of oils, greases and waxes that result in supple, rich-in-colour leather that is widely used for high-end leather goods. Thanks to this process, you can see the oils and waxes moving around the leather for an authentic aged look.
