Fellows are celebrating World Watch Day on 10 th October 2025 at their townhouse in Mayfair, London! It’s an opportunity to meet with industry professionals, discover some incredible timepieces and all set in the beautiful Fellows home base.

Industry Leaders At World Watch Day
There will be several industry specialists in attendance. Don Cochrane of Vertex will be bringing his knowledge of the brand that helped the allies win the second world war and the story of the business that his ancestors began. You will also be able to take a closer look at some of the brilliant watches from Vertex’s extensive archives that date back to when the brand was first founded in 1916.
Dr Rebecca Struthers is one of the leading experts on horology and has published several books on the topic, most recently ‘About Time’, a book aimed at teaching the younger generation everything there is to know about time. She will be sharing her extensive knowledge of not only watches but of the history and concept of clockmaking and time telling.
As for myself, I’ll be representing WatchGecko with a selection of our finest watch straps. We will have a table set up with a variety of the WatchGecko straps for you to come and see in person. Whether you’re interested in the brand, the straps or just want to chat about watches, I’d love to meet you. So, if you are attending the day then please do come and say hello.

The Watch Collectors Club
There is a private event organised by The Watch Collectors Club in the evening. This will be an opportunity for club members to get together and share stories, knowledge and great timepieces. The club members will also be available to speak to during the open day so make sure you pick their brains about upcoming events, club membership and all of the wonderful benefits they have to offer.
Fellows themselves are pleased to offer attendees free valuations of their watches as well as advice on servicing and how to spot the fakes from the fortunes. There will be talks happening throughout the day from the Fellows’ archive. The topics range from how watches and jewellery help in forensic cases to the ever-intertwined world of supercars and watches.
