The Best New Watch Releases for June 2026

5 min read

June has delivered one of those wonderfully mixed months in horology. The kind where serious collectors are quietly rearranging their wish lists while the rest of us are spotting genuinely exciting, attainable pieces that don’t require a second mortgage. From ultra-limited haute horology to colourful summer-ready releases, there’s plenty to talk about.

Here are some of the best new watches that caught my eye this month.

Zenith GFJ Calibre 135 Double Signed Naoya Hida & Co

Let’s start at the very top. Zenith has taken its already celebrated GFJ and given it a distinctly refined twist, partnering with Naoya Hida & Co for a 10-piece limited edition that feels as much like art as it does a watch. If you’re not familiar with Naoya Hida & Co, they are a small Tokyo-based watchmaker producing fewer than 100 watches a year. Think obsessive craftsmanship, restrained design, and the kind of finishing that rewards a loupe.

This platinum-cased edition strips everything back visually. The dial is minimal in the best possible way, allowing the proportions, textures, and finishing to do the talking. It is arguably the most elegant version of the GFJ to date. Not one for the casual buyer, but undeniably one for the purist.

Beaucroft ARC

Now for something much more accessible, but no less charming. Beaucroft has refreshed its 36mm offering, evolving the Seeker into what is now called the ARC. And it’s not just a name change. The case has been completely redesigned, giving the watch a more refined, elegant profile that sits beautifully in that classic dress watch space.

Turn it over and you’re greeted by a sapphire exhibition case back, revealing a decorated Miyota automatic movement. It’s a detail that adds a sense of theatre you don’t always get at this price point.

The real highlight, though, is the dial selection. Teal, burnt orange, denim blue, and olive green. Each one feels thoughtfully executed rather than trend-chasing. For under £550, this is firmly in affordable luxury watches territory and a strong contender if you’re looking for a versatile, vintage-inspired watch with modern flair.

Raymond Weil A.R.T Collection

Celebrating 50 years is no small feat, and Raymond Weil has marked the occasion with the launch of the A.R.T collection. With 14 references straight out of the gate, this is a broad and ambitious release. Case sizes range from 30mm through to 38mm, making it one of the more inclusive launches this year in terms of wearability.

Inside, you’ll find the RW4200 automatic movement, based on a Sellita calibre. Reliable, proven, and perfectly suited to everyday wear. The standout here is arguably the 38mm full steel model with a date complication, which comes in at under £2,000. Yes, the integrated design will remind many of a certain well-known sports watch from Schaffhausen. But that’s not necessarily a criticism. It delivers that integrated sports watch aesthetic in a way that feels accessible, wearable, and nicely executed.

Unimatic Swimming Pool Editions

If June had a colour palette, it would probably look a lot like this. Unimatic has leaned fully into summer with its latest “Swimming Pool” releases. The Modello Uno and Modello Cinque have both been treated to bright, poolside-inspired dial colours that feel tailor-made for warm weather.

These are fun watches, unapologetically so. But they still retain that distinctive Unimatic DNA. Clean lines, purposeful design, and a slightly industrial edge that keeps things grounded. Powered by quartz VH31A movements, they’re grab-and-go pieces that prioritise practicality. Prices sit at 525 and 495 euros respectively, making them an easy addition if you’re after a seasonal switch-up. Pair one with a rubber strap or a lightweight nylon strap and you’ve got a perfect holiday companion.

Girard-Perregaux Laureato Fifty

From playful to prestigious. Girard-Perregaux celebrates 50 years of the Laureato with four new references that stay true to the model’s design language while refining the details. Available in 36mm and 39mm, these are classic integrated sports watches with a strong sense of identity. Powering the new models is the GP4800 manufacture movement, finished to a level you would expect from a brand with this heritage. It’s visible through the case back, naturally, and it does not disappoint.

The 39mm model with the rose-toned dial is a standout. Warm, elegant, and just a little different from the usual steel-and-blue formula. At £18,200, it sits firmly in aspirational territory, but as an example of how to evolve a classic design without losing its essence, it’s spot on.

Tudor “Bumblebee” Chronograph

This one barely needs an introduction. The yellow-dial Tudor Black Bay Chronograph, affectionately dubbed the “Bumblebee”, has been doing the rounds for a while now, but its official presence still feels significant. At 39mm, it hits a sweet spot in terms of wearability, and the bold dial colour signals a willingness from Tudor to push things forward.

Atelier Wen Perception MK3

Atelier Wen continues to quietly impress. The Perception MK3 builds on an already strong foundation, introducing subtle but meaningful improvements. Case finishing has been refined, elevating the overall feel on the wrist, and there’s a new bamboo green dial that adds a fresh dimension to the lineup.

Flip the watch over and things get even more interesting. The customised Pequignet movement is visible through an exhibition case back, complete with aventurine decoration and a skeletonised rotor. It’s the kind of detail that makes you pause for a second look. There’s also a new micro-adjustment clasp with a telescopic blade system, which is exactly the sort of practical innovation that enhances everyday wear. Add the 100 metres of water resistance, and this becomes a genuinely versatile mechanical watch.

Fears Brunswick 41 'Helmsman' ES

And finally, something built with purpose. Fears has expanded its Brunswick 41 line with the Helmsman ES, where ES stands for Endurance Specification. As the name suggests, this is a watch designed with real-world use in mind. The brushed case and matte white dial are not just aesthetic choices. They are practical decisions aimed at reducing glare, particularly useful in bright, reflective environments like open water.

Water resistance has been increased to 200 metres, making it a capable companion for more adventurous pursuits, while still maintaining the elegant, cushion-shaped design that defines the Brunswick collection. It’s a thoughtful blend of form and function. A proper tool watch, but one that doesn’t shout about it.
