New Releases

After the complete chaotic flurry of releases that was September, this October has felt considerably more manageable. By no means have brands slowed their pace with development and new launches this month. But, with the nights closing in and the warmer weather very much at an end here in the UK, watch brands are focusing on darker tones and warm colours. Apart from Bamford of course, they’ll never tone things down and I wouldn’t want them to either!

This is my list of the best new watch releases for October 2025. Keep reading to the end to find my favourite. Let’s get into it!

NOMOS Club Sport Worldtimer – Night Navigation

We were lucky enough to spend some time with this watch last month. The Club Sport Worldtimer became a fast favourite of the NOMOS lineup for me when it launched at Watches and Wonders earlier this year. These three new limited-edition colourways look awesome and Trace, the almost neon green that we had in the office, is possibly my favourite colour of this model yet. The movement in these watches is a masterpiece, created in-house by the team at NOMOS and allows the watch to be just 9.9mm thick while also able to represent every time zone on the planet. It’s wild how easy this watch is to wear and use, with just a few clicks of the 2 o’clock button I could go from London to New York.

Girard Perregaux Laureato Fifty

If I am being honest, the Laureato is not my favourite integrated bracelet watch design. There’s something about it that doesn’t excite me like an Ingenieur or Royal Oak does. But, if you asked me explicitly what it is that I don’t like about it, I wouldn’t be able to tell you, I just don’t like it. This anniversary edition, however, is brilliantly styled. The overall aim of this watch was to celebrate the Laureato’s heritage, and it looks like a modern watch plucked straight out of the seventies!

Angelus Chronographe Télémètre Massena LAB

Limited to just 10 pieces, this is the first full 18k gold case from Massena LAB. And my goodness it’s pretty. At 37mm in diameter and 9.25mm thick, this is a classically proportioned and styled timepiece. Powering the watch is the Angeleus calibre A5000 which can be viewed through an exhibition case back. I would argue that wearing the watch with the dial facing inward can be just as beautiful, this movement is visually incredible. The crown also features the mono-pusher function, I’m a huge fan of mono-pusher chronographs and this is one of the sleekest executions of the complication. A beautiful watch, but I’ll probably never see one as there will only be 10 ever made and you can’t even find out how much they are!

Ming Polymesh

This is possibly the first time a bracelet has made it onto a new releases list. It is justified though because this is nothing like your standard Oyster or Jubilee. This is a single piece construction that comprises of 1,693 subcomponents. It has been constructed using additive manufacturing, a process that our friends over at Apiar have been pioneering in watch making for a number of years now. The material is Grade 5 titanium and the integrated tuck buckle design keeps the excess bracelet length on the inside. Where things get really crazy is how this bracelet feels and behaves. I have been reliably informed by some members of the community that this metal bracelet feels very much like a fabric strap. You can see from the press images how it curls over itself and I assume it would do the same when on wrist. With all those moving parts I do wonder if it pulls hair?

Longines Spirit Pilot

The Spirit Pilot has been one of my favourite lines from Longines for some time now but there were always small details that just didn’t sit exactly right with me. These new releases look incredible with their black and gold colouring and omission of the five stars on the dial. The Flyback Chronograph is my favourite as a manual wound flyback chronograph movement is extremely complex and normally reserved for ultra-high-end timepieces. It’s great to see this functionality in a slightly more attainable and classically designed watch.

Christopher Ward C63 Sealander Rock Solid

These were a lot of fun to have in the office. Almost a last hurrah for the bright colours of summer. Housed in the brilliant 36mm C63 Sealander case, these dials completely change the feeling of these watches. Fun and bright but also beautifully intricate, these watches are even more impressive in person.

Omega Speedmaster Grey Side of the Moon

Wow! A new Omega has made it onto my top releases list! I know I have been hard on Omega recently, not so much by speaking ill of them, but more just being dismissive of anything they do. I like to call it the silent treatment. Don’t give them any attention until they buck up their ideas. It seems to have worked as they have released a reissue of the wonderful Dark Side of the Moon line, better known as the Darth Vader. Alongside which is this new colourway for the ceramic speedy. Inspired by the dust of the moon, this watch features the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3869, which has been decorated with the pattern of the far side of the moon, and a laser-ablated lunar pattern on the dial that echoes the near side of the moon. All housed in a 44.25mm ceramic case that is now just 12.97mm thick. This is a very good looking Speedmaster that has some very interesting decoration. But it’s still too expensive.

A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia Thin

A friend of ours, none other than the wonderful Sophie Scott-Lewis, has recently purchased herself an incredible Saxonia. I was lucky enough to try it on at Bristol Watch Show this year and I can now say with even more confidence that the A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia is one of the most beautiful watches in the world. And now Lange have presented us with an even thinner version, because they’re never quite satisfied with perfection!

Available in platinum, white gold, pink gold and Lange’s wonderful Honey gold, this is arguably all the dress watch anyone could ever need.

Final Thoughts

October has been a very interesting month for new watch releases. There has been a variety of modern innovations and heritage re-introductions. Which new release for this month was your favourite? I’d love to hear from you in the comments.
