Geckota Chronotimer Racing Chronograph Watch Classic Reverse Panda - £399
As we wait for the 2024 Formula One season to kick off, what better way to watch it than with a new racing chronograph on your wrist? The Geckota Chronotimer range pays homage to racing chronographs from a bygone era, and the classic panda bi-compax design on this watch will never date.

Elliot Brown Holton Professional NIVO in Black - £475
One of the best tactical watches we reviewed in 2023, the Elliot Brown Holton range, brings both stealth and sophistication to the genre. The build quality of the Holton NIVO is second to none, hence why elite military units have selected it. This full black version would make a perfect operational watch if you genuinely need one or a fine outdoor model capable of defeating the elements.
£500-£600
Geckota Ocean-Scout Dive Watch Frost with Berwick Stainless Steel Strap - £599
Geckota's new Ocean-Scout range represents an evolution for the brand, and the Frost and Ice models, which were special editions released for the winter of 2023, are perhaps the most stunning models. In every way, these are contemporary dive and outdoor watches. However, this stunning dial elevates the model to a new level of aesthetic interest.
£600-£700
NTH DevilRay GMT (WatchGecko Exclusive) - £625
WatchGecko has enjoyed many collaborations with NTH, and possibly the most dynamic is the Devil Ray GMT. This watch channels 1970s dive watches with its period-accurate cushion case and dual-function bezel. You can measure elapsed time or an alternate time zone. Despite the striking package, let's remember this is a professional dive watch capable of resisting water pressure down to 500 meters.
£700-£800
FORMEX Field Automatic in Charcoal with Blue Nylon Strap - £730
Formex is synonymous with innovative designs, so it was no surprise when they set out to make a field watch that would not look like any other field watch. There is a strong argument that this model is the perfect modern evolution of field watches, which have remained mainly unaltered since World War 2. Made of titanium with one of the most innovative straps we've seen, the Formex Field could be the perfect contemporary field watch. A standard by which all others, one day, could be judged.

Our favourite is gold, and if you can remember Formula One from a particular era, you'll know exactly where we're coming from!

Arguably the most underrated dive watch of all time Squale's reputation and historical contribution to dive equipment cannot be underestimated. These watches are beautifully constructed and have primarily remained unaltered since the 1950s, which gives them a true sense of style and longevity. The new Green Ray dial is another unique colour from a brand synonymous with such bold designs.
