This watch is classed as “Like New”, which means that it is either a customer return or a former photo sample. As such it could have very minor signs of wear and may not be supplied with the original box. However, it has still been checked to ensure that it is running perfectly, and it has a 6 month warranty.
The Sinn 356 Pilot II was inspired by the Sinn 256 Pilot Chronograph which was originally developed for the Japanese market. The chronograph dial has a clean, contemporary look and features 3 subdials, a date/day display and luminescent hands and indices. This particular 356 model features a bold copper guilloché dial that's exceptionally eye catching, and is perfect for those who want to make a bit more of a statement on the wrist.
The dial is housed under a sapphire glass and rests over a screw-fastened caseback, providing up to 100 metres of water resistance. The Sinn 356 Pilot II watch meets the requirements for waterproofness as set out in standard DIN 8310.
The case measures at 38.5mm and is crafted from bead-blasted stainless-steel for impressive durability. The Sinn 356 Pilot uses a self-winding Sellita SW-500 movement and features 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour, a seconds stop function and an antimagnetic design as per DIN 8309.
Why This Watch?
About Sinn
Sinn Watches was founded in 1961 and has long been a big name in horology. The brand was originally focused on producing navigation clocks for cockpits, and this design is reflected in their collection of pilot watches decades later. Sinn promises uncompromising functionality in their watch collections, even in the most demanding conditions. Thanks to industry leading technologies such as Ar-Dehumidifying and antimagnetic construction, Tegiment steel hardening and temperature stabilized movements. It’s not surprising then, that Sinn is praised for their high-quality movements and materials and loved by collectors for their accuracy in extremely adverse conditions
