Timex turns the watch world upside down
Timex has just released a new collection in collaboration with Netflix's hit show Stranger Things, which just released its fourth season on the streaming service.
Stranger Things is set in the early '80s and is littered with retro throwbacks, from the costuming, popular culture and synth-heavy tracks that accompany the sci-fi horror drama.
To celebrate the new season's much-anticipated release, Timex has dug deep into its archives to bring back three of its much-loved classics from this era. These include the Timex T80, Timex Camper and Timex Atlantis. Complete with a Stranger Things makeover.

The now infamous Stranger Things graphic is visible on each Timex piece, complete with striking red and black colourways. The Timex T80 and Timex Atlantis, both digital watches which appeared around Will Byers' disappearance in 1983, feature a customised alarm that plays the Stranger Things melody.
Fans of the show may remember Sherrif Hopper sporting a Timex Atlantis in previous seasons, which Timex re-released in his honour. Timex has added a nod to the Upside Down once the clock strikes three, a nice touch I'm sure many of the Stranger Things cult following will appreciate.

The Timex Camper, which took to the screen on the wrist of Lucas Sinclair, flips the numerals and features a sinister INDIGLO ® backlight uncovering a hidden image.
The Timex x Stranger Things capsule is available in three styles: Camper (40mm), Timex T80 (34mm), and Timex Atlantis (40mm), each retailing for £80. Key features include a stainless-steel bracelet or fabric strap, resin case and strap, INDIGLO ® backlight and customized alarm. Each model is available to purchase from the Timex site.
