Eighty-One Racing Heroes team hit a fantastic milestone
Eighty-One Racing Heroes team hit a fantastic milestone in fulfilling the vision of integration and inclusion in motorsport. Team member Gustav Engljahringer, an experienced quadriplegic racing driver from Austria joined Redline Racing for several days testing and racing in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB.
It began on Friday in Snetterton. We had the pleasure of learning how Gustav uses a hand control system to accelerate and brake. James Webley, former REME soldier, experienced motorsport and adaptive mechanic for racer Nathalie McGloin (President of the FIA Accessibility and Disability Commission), led the way in advising.
