Introducing our 39mm diameter vintage style military chronograph. We have been inspired by the vintage military chronographs from the 1930's onwards to present you with this stylish yet affordable timepiece!
The watch uses a hybrid meca-quartz "Calibre 64" movement which combines quartz and mechanical technologies. This movement makes this watch highly accurate with quartz timekeeping; but has the look and feel of an expensive mechanical chronograph.

I tried to find a review online of this watch to see it up close but there weren't any. So I went ahead and bought the watch and hoped it would live up to expectations. After a week on the wrist I can say that is has exceeded them. The design is wonderful and the quality is a step above what I expected, but the two things that really stand out is the textured dial and the textured strap. These two things together elevate the watch and create a very authentic design. Any downsides? I wish it came with an automatic movement. I think the design is so coherent that it calls for an automatic movement, it even begs for it, and I would be willing to pay extra for that (but whether that is a shared view I don't know). The other downside is that the two subdials eat away at the numerals a bit too much. Smaller subdials would be preferable, but this is a small gripe. The overall view is an exceptional nice watch, and I find that I use it much more in my rotation of watches than I anticipated. Well done!
Beautiful looking watch, just the right size for my thin wrist, very smart looking and old school character. Takes me back to my dads old watch collection and I just love how Geckota design and the quality they achieve, you do the industry proud in my book, this is the second watch I own as I have the Kickstarter diver and I love them both, but I do like the smaller looking Aviator on my wrist and looks really good with the vintage original James Bond strap. Keep up the great work and thanks for the fantastic service and customer care and super fast delivery.

This is a lovely looking watch. Very classy and with the right amount of 'nod' to the past with some retro elements which don't go over the top. It's clearly modelled on the Zenith and the new Mont Blanc 1858 collection which Hugh Jackman is sporting in the media. (the black dial version is very close) Good thing about the Geckota C2 is it is exactly a tenth of the price. There is no nasty step movement second hand as you usually find in quartz movements. The hybrid mechanism is not detectable and the chrono' functions move like a mechanical watch. The two straps suggested by Gecko in the promos look great. On the downside calibrating the subdials looks like its been a challenge but in a way this adds to the authenticity. My Omega Speedy cost almost four grand an the sundials are never perfect for long on that. Great watch from one of the better boutique/craft makers out there. There is some real rubbish companies out there trying to jump on the new wave watch collecting bandwagon. Geckota is not one of them. Superb quality and really smart, thoughtful design and no way a homage piece. An excellent watch in its own right.

The design team worked closely with the factory, ensuring that the dial texture and colours were just right.
The dial has a very special "sand" textured pattern and stamped indices. This is the first watch in our range to feature these new production techniques.
Powered by the hybrid "meca-quartz" Seiko VK64 movement; a combination of quartz and mechanical watch technology is possible.
Quartz timekeeping keeps the watch highly accurate, and the look and feel of an expensive mechanical chronograph is maintained, but without an expensive price tag.
