Explore the watch in more detail below...

The new G-01 shows a different side to the Geckota range with a more unique, individual design taking inspiration from 'space age' type buildings and architecture such as the TWA Flight Center and John Lautner's Chemosphere. These buildings, much like the G-01 both share a level of individuality & unique flair and yet still keep their own level of distinctiveness. Whether it's on a stunning Ostrich leg watch strap, a practical rubber strap or an understated metal bracelet, the G-01 always maintains a level of individual charm.

The head turning dial...

The dial on the G-01 Diver combines some of the most valued features and specifications which you come to expect from the Geckota line. The vertically brushed dial comes in a range of three unique colours which not only stand out, but also change colour depending on the light and the angle you're enjoying the watch at.

On the topic of uniqueness, the applied indices are filled with Super-LumiNova and surrounded with gold details, complimenting the overall space age like design of the watch. The applied hour markers on the G-01 sit on a thin white line which adds another nod to the space age inspiration. This line continues on the G-01, crossing the dial down the centre vertically and horizontally, bringing the watch together effortlessly.

The G-01's case

Coming in at 42mm, the 300m water resistant G-01 has a lug to lug of 45mm and a thickness of 12mm making for a very useable size for modern day diving watches. The G-01 comes with useful features we know our customer enjoy such as drilled lugs and a screw down crown. The same crown also has two-tone colouring, matching the dial as well as a 'G' signed design and additional gold detail around the threading.

On the topic of gold details, the G-01 is finished with a handful of gold coloured design aspects which really add another dimension to this watch. The combination of the gold edged hands, hour markers, seconds hand, signed crown and crown tube threading all give the effect of a two tone watch, without it being as obvious and blatant as full two tone designed timepieces.

Unique hands

When looking at the G-01, there are two features which immediately jump out at you. Not only does the dial give the watch that special look, the hands have a unique retro feel, a new direction for the Geckota range. The hands take the best of popular hand sets such as Mercedes and cathedral hands and combine them with space age design. The hands are also filled with top quality Super-LumiNova resulting in a bright blue glow with only short exposure to light. To match the hour markers, the hands have gold details complimented with the fully gold coloured seconds hand.
