By popular demand we have now developed our K1 range into a smaller mid-size 40mm watch. It is available as a watch head only that's ready for your preferred 20 mm strap.
We have maintained the high level of the precision-engineering of its larger relative, and fitted it with the reliable Seiko NH35 movement. This pilot watch range evokes a golden age of aviation adventure.
With its advanced white Swiss BGW9 lume and screw-in crown, we are continuing Geckota's timeless design and affordability.

Lets get the missing star out of the way first.
In my honest opinion, the blue dial is misrepresented in the pictures. The dial is shown graduating from a very dark, almost black, navy blue to a rich, deep cobalt.
This isn't how my watch looks.
The color is a much more subdued, cold steel blue colour.
It looks nice, but it doesn't look very much as the pictures.
With that out of the way I'm happy to say that I'm pleased with the watch. The finish is very nice and the 40 mm size is just right for a skinny wristed guy like me.
It does sit a little tall, but not enough to annoy or look strange.
The lume is impressive and seems to last a good long while.
All in all I couldn't ask for more from a watch at thise price point.
Except perhaps for more accurate pictures, hence the four stars in stead of five.
Having used WatchGecko for straps and mesh bracelets I thought I'd try one of the watches. What a very pleasant surprise! I was amazed at the very nice build quality and lovely design, and all for a very reasonable price.
The blue dial is stunning, the balance of brushed and polished elements on the case is spot on and the solid, weighty feel of the watch makes it feel like a much more expensive item.
This won't be my last Geckota watch!
Well worth waiting for. As the OP says, the blue dial is stunning. So many people have commented on the weight and quality of this watch, particularly when combined with the Super Classic Engineer in stainless steel. It looks way more expensive than it looks. The geckoes have done it again. The 40mm dial doesn't look out of place on a 7.5 inch wrist, but also looks good on a woman's wrist (my wife loves hers) – so I guess Geckota have got their first woman's pilot watch! Recommended.
Very fast shipping just received it today more than expect blue dial is stunning this is tone that I want case is good quality well made with this price.
